N11

N11 @ The Factory

I have been waiting to shoot these guys for quite some time now. Many months ago Sean and me had a chat about doing a shoot with the band, something we were both excited about but unfortunately we just could not find time to make it happen. So when they got in touch earlier this week to let me know they were shooting an acoustic set in The Factory. I knew this was my opportunity to meet the band, get some great pictures, see what the Factory was like and here some great music.

The factory is a creative hub for filmmakers and an amazing location in Barrows street Dublin. It was alive and buzzing with people. I came towards the end of the video shoot but it was great to see all that was going on. Cameras rolling by on little cars and filmmakers franticly changed lenses…..

Anyway when the filmmaking was over I got my chance to shoot the band. The evening light was just sweet and I think it made the shoot for me (I have always loved shooting into the sun) the studio has wonderful old brick walls and in the afternoon light it was something else. It was great to finally get to work with the guys from N11, I hope I get to work with them again soon and I am looking forward to the launch of the new song “Slide” can’t wait to see the video.
